Using a flagged IP can trigger blocks or additional checks. Shared proxies have their place in high-volume data collection, but when a task depends on a consistent address, a dedicated proxy may be a better fit: during the rental period, the IP is assigned to one customer. Dedicated use does not guarantee a clean IP history or immunity from subnet-level blocks. In this guide we review the best dedicated proxies you can buy in 2026.
Knowing why you need private proxy services is different from knowing where to buy private proxy servers. Providers sell dedicated IPs in very different ways: from one IP or from 20, with or without traffic caps, in three countries or in fifty, and some label IPs “private” that are actually shared with two or three other users. We compared the dedicated plans of 10 providers on price per IP from the smallest plan to volume, minimum order, countries, bandwidth limits and IP replacement. Prices were reviewed in October 2026. Recheck provider checkout pages before purchase; listed rates may vary by country, term, and volume.
TL;DR
- Check that "private" means one user per IP. Webshare's cheaper "private" tier and Oxylabs' plain ISP proxies are shared by two or three users. Every price in this guide is for truly dedicated IPs.
- Lowest datacenter entry price: Floppydata, $0.95/IP on the 20-IP plan, falling to $0.79/IP at 100 IPs.
- Static residential at 100 IPs: Floppydata's $1.79/IP is among the lowest listed; only Webshare goes lower, at very large volume ($1.58/IP at 2,000 IPs).
- Single IPs in the most countries: IPRoyal, with dedicated datacenter IPs in 50+ countries and ISP IPs in 30+.
- Dedicated mobile lines: Proxy-Seller from about $109 a month and IPRoyal from $130.
- Not built for account management: Bright Data's acceptable-use policy restricts account management, surveys and ticketing, even though it sells dedicated IPs.
Disclosure: we operate Floppydata. Prices for every provider come from public pricing pages, and we note where Floppydata is weaker.
What are dedicated proxies?
A dedicated proxy is an IP address assigned to one customer during the rental period. This prevents other customers from using the same IP at the same time, but it does not guarantee a clean historical reputation or protect against blocks applied to a wider subnet or ASN.
Types of dedicated proxies
Dedicated datacenter proxies — IP addresses hosted in data centers and registered to hosting companies. They are the cheapest and fastest option and come with large or unlimited bandwidth, but websites can tell they are not home connections. They suit scraping, SEO monitoring and testing on sites without strict anti-bot systems.
Static residential (ISP) proxies — Server-hosted IPs registered to consumer internet providers such as Comcast or Deutsche Telekom, so websites see a residential network. They combine datacenter stability with a residential identity, which makes them the usual choice for long-lived accounts. Expect to pay about twice the price of a datacenter IP.
Dedicated mobile proxies — IPs on 4G/5G carrier networks, usually sold as a dedicated line or modem per month or day. Mobile proxies use IP addresses associated with cellular carrier networks. They can be useful for workflows that specifically require carrier-network IPs, but their acceptance depends on the target site and IP reputation; they are also among the most expensive dedicated options.
Why use a private proxy
Shared and rotating proxies work well for web data collection that needs many changing IPs. Private proxies make more sense when the same address has to stay with an account or a task:
- Stable sessions. Platforms that track login IPs are more likely to challenge accounts that keep changing address. A dedicated IP stays the same for as long as you rent it.
- Exclusive use. Since nobody else uses the IP during your rental period, you reduce the risk of simultaneous misuse by another customer. Historical reputation and subnet-level blocks can still affect the address.
- Unshared bandwidth. You do not compete with other users for the connection, so throughput is more consistent than on shared IPs.
- Task-bound IPs. Account management, ad verification and SEO tracking are easier to audit when each IP is assigned to one job.
How many subnets you need
When you buy dedicated IPs in bulk, check how many /24 subnets they come from. Many IPs from one subnet can be blocked together; spreading them across subnets and ASNs lowers that risk. Providers such as Rayobyte mix ASNs by default, and others let you request subnet diversity.
Dedicated, semi-dedicated or shared: read the label
Providers use “private”, “semi-dedicated” and “dedicated” differently, and the cheaper tier is often shared. Webshare’s “private” proxies are shared with up to two other users, and Oxylabs’ standard ISP proxies with up to three. They cost less, but another customer’s activity can still get the IP blocked. Before buying, check that the plan says one user per IP.
| Dedicated | Semi-dedicated (“private”) | Shared | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Users per IP | You only | Usually 2–3 | Many |
| IP reputation | Depends only on you | Partly on others | Mostly on others |
| Typical price | About $0.80–5 per IP a month | Often under $1 per IP | Cents per IP, or per GB |
| Best for | Accounts, logins, allow-lists | Light, low-risk tasks | Bulk scraping of easy sites |
Datacenter vs ISP vs mobile dedicated proxies
| Datacenter | ISP (static residential) | Mobile | |
|---|---|---|---|
| IP comes from | A hosting provider | A home internet provider’s range | A 4G/5G carrier |
| Price in this guide | $0.79–2.50 per IP a month | $1.79–5 per IP a month | $109–130+ per line a month |
| Trust on strict sites | Lowest | High | Highest |
| Does the IP change? | Never | Never | On reset, same line |
| Best for | Speed, bulk tasks, easy targets | Accounts, e-commerce, ad accounts | Social media and mobile apps |
How many dedicated IPs do you need?
- One IP per account or identity. If a platform links accounts by IP, give each account its own dedicated address and keep it.
- A small pool for allow-lists. Tools and APIs that accept only listed IPs need a fixed handful, plus one spare.
- Rotating proxies for volume. Collecting thousands of pages is cheaper per GB on rotating residential proxies than on hundreds of dedicated IPs.
- Check the minimum order. Floppydata (ISP), IPRoyal, Webshare (ISP), Byteful, NodeMaven and Proxy-Seller sell a single IP; Decodo starts at 3, Oxylabs at 3 datacenter or 5 ISP IPs, Rayobyte at 5, Bright Data at 10, and dedicated datacenter at Floppydata and Webshare at 20.
How we compared the providers
We compared each provider’s dedicated plans, not its rotating products, on six criteria:
- Exclusivity and formats: whether IPs are fully dedicated, semi-dedicated or shared, and which types (datacenter, ISP, mobile) are sold.
- Price per IP: the entry price of the smallest dedicated plan and how it falls with volume.
- Country coverage and targeting: how many countries are available for dedicated IPs, and whether city or ASN selection is offered.
- Bandwidth and concurrency limits: unlimited, capped per IP, or sold as add-ons.
- IP replacement: whether you can refresh or replace blocked IPs, and how often.
- Protocols, authorization and trial: HTTP(S), SOCKS5, UDP; credentials or IP whitelist; free trial or refund window.
Specifications and prices come from provider pricing pages and documentation, cross-checked with Proxyway’s private proxy review. Prices were last checked in October 2026. We did not run a performance test on dedicated IPs for this article; our residential proxy benchmark covers rotating residential proxies, not dedicated IPs, so its numbers are not used here.
A quick warning: proxy prices change often and depend on location, volume and term. Treat the figures below as a starting point and confirm on the provider’s site before paying.
Quick comparison
Indicative price per IP per month, from the smallest listed plan to a published volume rate. Prices are not fully comparable unless proxy type, country, term, bandwidth, and minimum order match. Min order is the smallest number of dedicated IPs listed for the plan reviewed.

10 best dedicated proxy providers in 2026
Rather than forcing an arbitrary 1–10 ranking, we recommend providers by use case. Each review lists the dedicated products, entry prices, coverage and the limitation that matters most.
Floppydata
Best for: teams that need many static IPs in major markets for long-lived account sessions at a low price per IP.
Why it stands out: Floppydata has the lowest datacenter entry price in this comparison, $19 a month for 20 static datacenter IPs ($0.95/IP), and static residential IPs at $1.79/IP on the 100-IP plan, against $1.80 at Webshare even at 250 IPs (Webshare goes lower only at 2,000). Static residential (ISP) IPs cost $49 a month for 20 ($2.45/IP), and a single ISP IP costs $19 for four months. Bandwidth is unlimited on every static plan, and a built-in checker lets you test access to your target site and location before you pay.
If you also need rotating traffic, Floppydata’s residential, mobile and datacenter rotating proxies share one $1/GB balance in the same account. We operate Floppydata, and its weaker points are listed below.
Key capabilities:
- Static residential (ISP) IPs in 9 countries: US, UK, Germany, France, Australia, Hong Kong, Romania, South Korea and Turkey
- Static datacenter IPs in 4: US, UK, Germany and Hong Kong
- Country selection; the city is assigned automatically
- Unlimited bandwidth on all static IPs
- Proxy check before purchase for your target site and location
- HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5; credentials or IP whitelist
- Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter proxies on one GB balance in the same account
Pricing: Static datacenter: $19/month for 20 IPs, $45 for 50, $79 for 100 ($0.79/IP). Static residential (ISP): $19 for one IP for four months, $49/month for 20, $99 for 50, $179 for 100 ($1.79/IP). Rotating proxies: $1/GB, or $1.50/GB for traffic that does not expire.
Main limitation: Country choice is narrow: 9 countries for static residential and 4 for datacenter, against 30+ and 50+ at IPRoyal. You cannot pick a city, dedicated datacenter starts at 20 IPs, and there is no free trial.

Conclusion
The best private proxy provider depends on how many IPs you need, where, and for what. For the lowest price per dedicated IP in the US, UK and Western Europe, with unlimited bandwidth, Floppydata leads this comparison. Decodo is the most balanced choice for ISP IPs with city and ASN targeting, Oxylabs covers large-scale datacenter scraping, IPRoyal sells single IPs in the most countries, and Proxy-Seller covers dedicated mobile lines. Whichever you pick, check that the plan is truly one user per IP.
For multi-account work, pair dedicated IPs with an antidetect browser such as 1Browser, and check each provider’s usage policy before you buy.
What is the difference between private and dedicated proxies?
Usually none: both mean an IP assigned to one customer. But some providers label a cheaper tier "private" that is shared by two or three users, so check that the plan says one user per IP.
Are there free dedicated proxies?
No. A dedicated IP costs the provider money every month and can be rented to only one customer. Free proxy lists are public, shared and usually already blocked; the free plans some providers offer are shared, not dedicated.
Does a dedicated proxy keep the same IP?
Dedicated datacenter and ISP IPs stay the same until you replace them or stop renewing. A dedicated mobile line stays yours, but its IP changes when you reset it.
Are dedicated proxies legal?
Renting a dedicated proxy is legal in most countries. What you do with it must follow local law and the terms of the sites you access.
How much do private proxies cost?
On entry plans, dedicated datacenter IPs cost about $0.95–2.50 each per month, static residential (ISP) IPs about $2.45–5, and dedicated mobile lines $109–130 or more. At volume, datacenter IPs fall to about $0.79–1.30 and ISP IPs to about $1.58–2.50 at most providers.
Can I get private residential proxies?
Yes. They are sold as static residential or ISP proxies: server-hosted IPs registered to consumer internet providers. True home devices are rarely sold as dedicated IPs because their uptime is unpredictable.
What happens if my dedicated IP gets blocked?
Check the provider's replacement policy before buying. Rayobyte, IPRoyal and Webshare offer free or configurable refreshes, while some providers only refresh IPs at renewal.
Can I use dedicated proxies for account management?
Usually yes, but check the provider's acceptable-use policy. Bright Data, for example, restricts account management.
