Subscription prices vary wildly by country. This guide will show you how big the price gaps are and how to find the cheapest ones.
Spoiler: With all this list’s savings combined, you’ll save up around $3000 per year if you just change your billing regions to the countries recommended in this guide.
It’s frustrating to know that you and someone in India are using the same Netflix with the same shows, same quality, same app, but they’re paying $5.30 while you’re paying $19.99.
But why does this price gap exist in the first place?
It’s because companies like Spotify, Netflix, YouTube Premium, and Adobe use purchasing power parity (PPP) to price their products.
The logic behind this is that a $15/month subscription is affordable in Switzerland but a luxury in Egypt or India. So, they price their service “fairly” relative to the local economy of a country.
But, if you’re living in a country where the local economy is relatively good, is it fair that you pay more?
You didn’t set your country’s GDP. You didn’t personally decide on exchange rates. You just happen to live somewhere that is developed economically, which doesn’t necessarily mean you’re rich.
Your reward for living in a developed country? A higher bill for the exact same digital product that costs the company the same amount to deliver to you as it does to someone in Karachi or Lagos.
So no, it’s not fair, and that’s a completely legitimate reason to look for a better price elsewhere.
The good news is that you don’t have to fly all the way to Pakistan just to get the cheap subscription. All you have to do is change your IP address using a proxy you can get from Floppydata. But that’s something I’ll guide you through later.
First, I want to show you what you’re missing out on. In this guide, I will compare subscription prices for 15 popular services across different countries and regions. I will then tell you which region offers the lowest price for that specific service, and I’ll teach you how to purchase that subscription using Floppydata, without having to actually go to that country.
Let’s get into it.
Where to Get the Best Deals
Before we dive into the detailed comparisons, here’s a quick visual overview of which countries offer the best prices for different services:
As you can see, countries like Nigeria, Pakistan, India, Egypt, Brazil, Turkey, Mexico, and South Korea consistently offer the lowest prices. Now let’s break down each service in detail.
Listed: Price comparison of 15 services by country to save money on your subscriptions (2026)

YouTube Premium
I’ve always thought YouTube Premium was just an “ad remover,” turns out it has way more features than that.
It allows you to keep audio running while using other apps, it includes YouTube Music Premium, it provides better image quality, and it includes Picture-in-Picture so you can watch on a floating window.
So, it quickly became an essential subscription in my entertainment stack, and I definitely had to find the cheapest way to get it.
I used proxies from Floppydata to change my IP location to multiple countries and make a regional pricing comparison, which allowed me to make the table below. It summarizes YouTube Premium Individual Plan pricing in different locations, from cheapest to most expensive:
cheapest
$1.25
$1.58
$1.67
$1.72
$1.77
$13.99
$17.65
most expensive
$23.48
As you can see, Nigeria has the lowest price for the YouTube Premium Individual plan.
When I switched my location using a Nigerian proxy from Floppydata, here’s what my YouTube Premium pricing page looked like:
As you can see, the individual plan costs NGN 1,700. Let’s convert this to USD:
🇳🇬
🇺🇸
It indeed costs 1.25 USD at the current rates. So yes, Nigeria does have a way lower price for a YouTube Premium subscription.
Let’s see how much you’d save just by making your purchase using a Nigerian proxy:
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
Let’s do some math:
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price (USD) | Monthly Savings (vs. Nigeria) | Annual Savings (vs. Nigeria) | Percentage Saved |
| France (Most Exp.) | $23.48 | $22.23 | $266.76 | ~95% |
| United States | $13.99 | $12.74 | $152.88 | ~91% |
| United Kingdom | $17.65 | $16.40 | $196.80 | ~93% |
So, by switching to a Nigerian IP, you’d save more than $150 annually on your YouTube Premium subscription. This is just huge!
If you can’t process the payment for the Nigerian YouTube, I suggest you try other countries by switching to India or Egypt, as they are the two cheapest options for YouTube Premium.
-
Netflix
No need for introductions, Netflix is an entertainment giant that everybody has watched at least once in their life.
Here’s what I found regarding the prices of its Standard plan across different countries:
cheapest
$0.90
$3.23
$4.79
$5.29
$6.41
$10.78
$17.65
$19.99
most expensive
$26.99
This time, it’s Pakistan that has the lowest price for Netflix. Then comes Egypt and Nigeria.
Here’s Netflix Pakistan’s home page:
It says “start at Rs 250”. Here’s the conversion to USD:
Let’s calculate our savings now.
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?

🇺🇸
| Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. Pakistan) | Annual Savings (vs. Pakistan) | Percentage Saved (vs. Pakistan) |
| Switzerland & Liechtenstein (most expensive) | $26.99 | $26.09 | $313.08 | 96.6% |

Spotify
If you’re tired of your playlist getting interrupted with an ad longer than the next song, and if you want to skip as many tracks as you want, Spotify Premium is the answer.
It also allows you to download songs, playlists, and podcasts directly to your devices so you can listen to them offline.
You also get access to 320 kbps standard high-quality audio and lossless audio for studio-quality sound.
Let’s compare prices for the Premium Individual Plan to see which country you should switch your IP address to:
cheapest
$1.18
$1.36
$1.50
$2.19
$2.37
$4.99
$12.99
$17.65
most expensive
$20.46
Once again, Nigeria is the cheapest country to get your Spotify Premium subscription from. Pakistan is also here, and Egypt as well.
I used a proxy from Floppydata to get access to the Nigerian Spotify and see its prices. Here’s what I found:
For the individual, you can get 1 month for free, then pay ₦1,600/month after that. Let’s convert the Nigerian Naira to USD:
🇳🇬
🇺🇸
Indeed, it’s $1.18 for the current rates. Let’s see how much this will save you:
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings | Annual Savings | Percentage Saved |
| Liechtenstein (Most Expensive) | $20.46 | $19.28 | $231.36 | 94.2% |
| United Kingdom | $17.65 | $16.47 | $197.64 | 93.3% |
| United States | $12.99 | $11.81 | $141.72 | 90.9% |
So, switching your location to Nigeria would save you more than 90% on your Spotify subscription. A tutorial on how to do this is at the end of this guide in the “How to get a proxy to save money on subscriptions” section.

Amazon Prime
This one is an “everything bundle”.
It gives you the perk of getting free two-day or even one-day deliveries on your items, it gives you access to Prime Video for movies and original series, plus it also gives you access to Amazon Music Prime.
Other perks include a free subscription to Grubhub+, Amazon Pharmacy, Prime Gaming, Prime Reading, and early access to exclusive sales.
Here’s my regional pricing comparison for Amazon Prime:
cheapest
$0.55
$1.55
$2.13
$4.82
$5.95
$7.32
$12.25

So, for half a dollar, you can get Amazon Prime if you switch your location to Egypt. That’s the lowest price in this list so far!
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. Egypt) | Annual Savings (vs. Egypt) | Percentage Saved (vs. Egypt) |

| United Kingdom | $12.25 | $11.70 | $140.40 | 95.5% |
It’s an almost 100% saving – an opportunity you shouldn’t miss.

Adobe Creative Cloud
Now that we’ve gone through the main entertainment giants, it’s time to switch to some professional and creative services, starting with Adobe Creative Cloud.
It’s one subscription most professionals refuse to cancel because it’s no longer just a bundle of desktop apps – it became an entirely connected, AI-driven ecosystem.
With this one subscription, you get access to over 20 industry-standard desktop and mobile applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign.
The recently added Firefly AI assistant has made this subscription even more valuable. Then there is the Generative AI, the massive cloud storage, the 20,000 Adobe Fonts, and way more features.
Since this is a platform aimed at professionals, it’s normal to see its pricing reaching $100, but no one said that that’s what you should be paying. Here’s my pricing comparison across countries:
cheapest
$30.32
$35.80
$42.33
$57.55
$67.28
$69.99
$90.84
most expensive
$101.54
Egypt wins the first spot again for charging only $30.32 for its Individual plan. That’s half what Americans pay.
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. Egypt) | Annual Savings (vs. Egypt) | Percentage Saved (vs. Egypt) |
| Norway (Most Expensive) | $101.54 | $71.22 | $854.64 | 70.1% |
| United Kingdom | $90.84 | $60.52 | $726.24 | 66.6% |
| United States | $69.99 | $39.67 | $476.04 | 56.7% |
If Adobe Creative Cloud is an essential tool for your business or creative job, you can get it for 60-70% less if you just switch your location to Egypt or even Turkey. This one has the biggest annual savings so far, ranging from $470 to $850 yearly.
-
Canva Pro
Next up is Canva, which is actually a go-to tool for everyone, whether they’re pro designers or not.
The free version is decent, but it constantly hits you with paywalls, especially for the prettiest designs and graphics that exactly match your vision.
Canva Pro gives you unlimited access to over 100 million stock photos, graphics, videos, audio tracks, and professional templates.
Pro also unlocked the full suite of AI tools that Canva offers, including background remover, Magic Edit, Eraser, and AI image & text generator.
You can also resize your designs, establish your brand kits, and schedule your posts.
But to get all this, no need to pay anything around $15-18; you can just switch your location to Argentina, so you can pay less than one dollar:
cheapest
$4.55
$5.29
$6.00
$6.50
$13.19
most expensive
$15.00
See? Let’s calculate your savings:
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings | Annual Savings | Percentage Saved |
| United States (Most Expensive) | $15.00 | $10.45 | $125.40 | 69.7% |
| United Kingdom | $13.19 | $8.64 | $103.68 | 65.5% |
This is another service where the pricing gap is shocking, and the savings for it keep more than $100 in your pocket per year.
-
LinkedIn Premium
Speaking of professional tools, LinkedIn Premium is a non-negotiable for this list.
It gives you full profile visibility, so you know everyone who looked at your profile in the last 365 days. This is especially great to reach out to interested recruiters or potential clients.
And speaking of reaching out to people, LinkedIn Premium offers you a monthly allotment of InMail credits, which are useful to send messages to anyone on the platform without needing to be connected with them first.
You also get access to a massive library of over 22,000 expert-led courses through LinkedIn Learning, and many of them offer valuable certifications you can display on your profile.
And recently, LinkedIn has integrated useful native AI tools into the Premium experience.
In the table below, I’m comparing prices for both LinkedIn Premium types:
- Premium Career, which is best for job seekers
- Premium Business, which is best for freelancers, founders, and business owners in general.
Let’s see where you can get the lowest price for both:
cheapest
$18.32 / $38.82
$19.60 / $45.00
$29.99 / $59.99
$32.65 / $50.72
most expensive
$34.08 / $61.33
For both tiers of LinkedIn Premium, Brazil offers the cheapest price. Let’s see how much savings this gives you:
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
For LinkedIn Premium Career:
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. Brazil) | Annual Savings (vs. Brazil) | Percentage Saved (vs. Brazil) |
| United Kingdom (Most Expensive) | $34.08 | $15.76 | $189.12 | 46.2% |
| United States | $29.99 | $11.67 | $140.04 | 38.9% |
For LinkedIn Premium Business:
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. Brazil) | Annual Savings (vs. Brazil) | Percentage Saved (vs. Brazil) |
| United Kingdom (Most Expensive) | $61.33 | $22.51 | $270.12 | 36.7% |
| United States | $59.99 | $21.17 | $254.04 | 35.3% |
-
Grammarly Pro
Grammarly Premium, which has been recently rebranded and expanded as Grammarly Pro, is a massive upgrade over the free spell-checker.
It unlocks up to 2000 AI prompts per month for you to use in enhancing your texts, summarizing long paragraphs, or simply generating a first draft.
It also allows you to rewrite full sentences in a single click, adjust your tone, and check your text for plagiarism. Here’s my pricing comparison across a few countries:
cheapest
$26.49
$30.00
$34.04
most expensive
$35.33
India is again in the top spot.
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. India) | Annual Savings (vs. India) | Percentage Saved (vs. India) |
| Slovenia (Most Expensive) | $35.33 | $8.84 | $106.08 | 25% |
| United Kingdom | $34.04 | $7.55 | $90.60 | 22% |
| United States | $30.00 | $3.51 | $42.12 | 11.7% |
So, to save on Grammarly Pro, switch your IP location to India. Savings for this service vary from 11-25%, which is not bad, especially for a platform aimed at professionals who already have a lot of expenses.
-
Notion
If you still think Notion is a simple note-taking app, you’re wrong.
It has now become a highly customizable operating system for both individuals and companies.
It provides a single canvas where you can build company wikis, track daily tasks, and manage complex project pipelines.
Here’s what I found when comparing prices for the Essentials plan:
cheapest
$9.56
$12.00
$12.77
$13.57
most expensive
$13.64
South Korea offers the best regional discount for Notion. And I’m not even surprised because this is often a strategic move by SaaS companies to gain a foothold in the highly competitive East Asian tech market, where local alternatives are quite strong.
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. South Korea) | Annual Savings (vs. South Korea) | Percentage Saved (vs. South Korea) |
| United Kingdom (Most Exp.) | $13.64 | $4.08 | $48.96 | 29.9% |
| United States | $12.00 | $2.44 | $29.28 | 20.3% |
Compared to the entertainment services like Netflix and Spotify, Notion is significantly more standardized globally. The 20% savings can feel lower compared to the 96% ones we saw with Spotify, but saving $49 a year is still a nice perk.
-
Steam
Now it’s time to talk about some gaming services, starting with Steam.
Unlike Netflix or Adobe, Steam is not a subscription service; it is a digital storefront where you buy permanent licenses for individual games.
For this comparison, I didn’t look at the monthly fees, but rather the cost of three of the most popular games.
So, here are the prices I found in the table below (not in a specific order):
cheapest
$31.76 / $25.40 / $13.75
$31.93 / $27.36 / $10.50
$37.62 / $30.36 / $14.63
$59.99 / $39.99 / $29.99
$68.15 / $47.70 / $34.07
most expensive
$72.06 / $51.35 / $43.11
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
Here is how much you can save on purchasing Cyberpunk 2077 using an Indian IP:
| Baseline Country | Retail Price | Total Savings per Copy (vs. India) | Percentage Saved (vs. India) |
| Switzerland (Most Expensive) | $72.06 | $40.30 | 55.9% |
| United Kingdom | $68.15 | $36.39 | 53.4% |
| United States | $59.99 | $28.23 | 47.1% |
For a one-time purchase, the massive $40 gap is a highly lucrative arbitrage opportunity.
-
Xbox Game Pass
Now, still in the gaming industry, Xbox Game Pass represents the Netflix of video games. With this subscription, you get a massive rotating library of hundreds of high-quality games.
Plus, you’d be the first to play the most anticipated games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and select third-party developers.
You also get Riot Games and many in-game benefits just by having the Game Pass. This subscription allows you to stream your games directly to your phone or any device, and gets many Xbox rewards.
Let’s compare the prices of the Essential plan across 8 countries:
cheapest
$5.25
$5.43
$5.92
$6.45
$9.52
$9.99
$12.85
most expensive
$13.78
The country where you can get the cheapest subscription to Xbox Game Pass is India. Let’s see now how much you’d save:
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. India) | Annual Savings (vs. India) | Percentage Saved (vs. India) |
| Israel (Most Expensive) | $13.78 | $8.53 | $102.36 | 61.9% |
| United States | $9.99 | $4.74 | $56.88 | 47.4% |
| United Kingdom | $9.52 | $4.27 | $51.24 | 44.9% |
Anything more than $50 annual savings is worth it. So just change your location to India and pay 40-62% less than your gaming buddies.
-
PlayStation Plus
Another gaming service, and this time we’re talking about Sony’s premium digital subscription service for the PS4 and PS5.
Most people buy the PlayStation Plus to get the Multiplayer Gatekeeper for premium games online like Call of Duty, EA Sports, etc.
You also get access to their massive gaming catalog, including 3-5 free games every month. The subscription unlocks 100GB of automated cloud storage, many store discounts, and easy cloud streaming even for heavy games.
If you’re about to subscribe, check out these massive regional discounts you can get only by changing your location. The table below is specific to the Extra plan:
cheapest
$0.46
$2.13
$5.29
$5.95
$9.53
$9.99
$12.74
most expensive
$19.00
Mexico offers a subscription to PlayStation Plus for less than a dollar. This means another opportunity to save more than 90% on your subscription! Let’s see the math:
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. Mexico) | Annual Savings (vs. Mexico) | Percentage Saved (vs. Mexico) |
| South Korea (Most Expensive) | $19.00 | $18.54 | $222.48 | 97.6% |
| United States | $9.99 | $9.53 | $114.36 | 95.4% |
| United Kingdom | $9.53 | $9.07 | $108.84 | 95.2% |
This is by far the biggest percentage saved on this list. Change your location now to Mexico to get the massive regional discount of over 95%.
-
ChatGPT Plus
This one doesn’t need introductions; we all use it nowadays. But not everyone pays for the plus version, although you totally should.
It unlocks OpenAI’s most powerful and latest models. The free tier caps you at 10 messages every 5 hours, then downgrades you to a mini, weaker model.
Plus users receive a massive bump, allowing around 160 messages every 3 hours.
The plus also unlocks the deep research mode, which makes the AI scour the internet, synthesize dozens of live sources, and generate massive, fully cited reports or literature reviews with tables and bullet points.
Plus subscribers also have access to the Sora model, which generates 5-second high-fidelity video clips directly from text prompts inside the chat interface.
All in all, it’s a good subscription to have, and here are the prices across different countries:
cheapest
$11.02
$16.50
$17.57
$18.28
$19.99
$27.07
most expensive
$28.24
The country with the cheapest subscription to ChatGPT Plus is Turkey. Let’s calculate how much you’d save on it.
Calculating the savings: is it worth it?
| Baseline Country | Monthly Price | Monthly Savings (vs. Turkey) | Annual Savings (vs. Turkey) | Percentage Saved (vs. Turkey) |
| Denmark (Most Expensive) | $28.24 | $17.22 | $206.64 | 61.0% |
| United Kingdom | $27.07 | $16.05 | $192.60 | 59.3% |
| United States | $19.99 | $8.97 | $107.64 | 44.9% |
The 61% discount is very attractive for people living in Denmark. For those in the US and the UK, paying the Turkey price is basically half of what they would if they didn’t change their location.
Total Annual Savings: Visual Summary
Here’s a visual breakdown of how much you can save per year on each service by switching to the cheapest region:
As you can see, Adobe Creative Cloud offers the biggest savings at $855/year, while Xbox Game Pass has the smallest savings at $102/year. Combined, switching all 12 services to their cheapest regions saves you $3,101 per year.
Let me show you just how extreme these price gaps can be. Here are four stark examples of the same digital service priced dramatically differently based on your location:
These aren’t different products or quality tiers — it’s the exact same service. The only difference? Your billing region. Let’s fix that.
How to get a proxy to save money on subscriptions
Now that you have seen that most platforms and services you use on a daily basis cost less in their subscriptions in other countries, it’s time for you to take this to your own advantage.
All you have to do to pay less for your subscriptions is to change your IP address. Many people would use a VPN, but let me tell you right now: it won’t work.
Why should you use proxies instead of VPN?
Standard VPNs use IPs from large datacenters that are publicly known and easily flagged.
The risk of shadowbanning is bigger, and explicit banning easily becomes inevitable.
That’s why you need to use proxies.
Residential proxies use IPs assigned by real Internet Service Providers to actual real homes. To a platform like Adobe or Steam, you don’t look like a hacker; you look like a regular guy sitting in a cafe in Mumbai.
So, you need a reliable proxy provider, and I’ll always recommend Floppydata.
Floppydata proxies are my favorite to use because they have good trust scores. They’re clean and highly trusted; they bypass anti-fraud filters and CAPTCHA effortlessly.
How to get proxies from Floppydata
Here’s the entire process visualized from start to finish:
First, you have to create an account if you haven’t already. Just go to the Floppydata website and sign up easily.
Then, once on the dashboard, look at the panel on the left and click the “Get proxy credentials”.
Now this part is optional, but to make things more organized, I advise you to create a dedicated username for each country. To do so, just click on the arrow below Username in the Config box and click on + Create username to add one.
Give it the name of the country you want to get a proxy from. For example, if we want to save money on our Canva Pro subscription, we’d choose Argentina.
Click on Create.
Now, select Argentina in “Country”
Once you select your country, you can change some of the other configurations if you want, like the proxies quantity, Rotation, and Protocol.
Once you’re done, scroll down to Proxies and you’ll find a table containing all your proxies.
For my example, I configured to have 3 proxies, country is Argentina, Rotation is every 15 minutes, and protocol is HTTPS. Here’s my list of proxies:
Now, to use your proxies, you just have to copy their information into your favorite browser inside its proxy settings. More details on how to integrate your proxy into your browser are in the Floppydata integrations page.
Your Subscription Costs: Before & After Floppydata
Here’s the final comparison showing exactly how much you’re losing every year by not switching to regional pricing:
Without Floppydata, you’re paying $4,044/year. With Floppydata proxies and regional pricing, you pay $946/year.
That’s $3,098 saved per year — and I’ve never made such big savings before in my life, not even with Black Friday deals.
Conclusion
The day I understood regional pricing gaps is the day I started saving 50% to 90% on my subscriptions across gaming, productivity, and entertainment services.
As standard VPNs are now easily spotted by major platforms, I had to find a solution, which led me to proxies. Thanks to Floppydata proxies, I now appear as a genuine local household, and I can now switch my location to any country where my favorite platforms are cheaper, and I’ve never made such big savings before in my life, not even with black friday deals.
Sign up to Floppydata today and get proxies for the countries mentioned in this guide. Thanks for reading all the way here!
